Derby class 107 3 car unit 107439 is the leading unit forming the 11.15 service to Glasgow Central waiting to leave the rather grand station at Ayr on 7th April 1984. The leading vehicle, sporting an Ayr depot sticker, is DMBS Sc52000. A second class 107 unit completes the rake whilst Metro Cammell unit 101341 (presumably 51536 + 59557 + 51469) has recently arrived. Bruce Galloway.

Part view of 'TransClyde' branded Blue and Grey liveried 107439 standing in the sidings above Dundee Tay Bridge station; in company with BRCW Type 2 26021. Taken after major changes made to Dundee's railway yards but the sidings seen here are still in existence and in use.
