Class 114 vehicles 53044 + 54043 were reallocated from Lincoln to Tyseley (their first move since new) at the start of October 1987 becoming set T234. Here the set is seen a few weeks later on 17 November in Bristol Temple Meads and was noted as ready to work the 12:53 to Severn Beach. Stuart Mackay Collection.

A Class 114 set in Derby station, date unknown. 53044 is on this end, labeled set T234, the other end is labeled T224 (presumably 54008). Malcolm Clements.

In Shrewsbury station on the 30th March 1989 is 53044, part of set T234. Chester is on the destination blind. Gazza Prescott.
