At Nottingham on September 17th, 1988, T420 (53092 + 59607 + 59032 + 51892) and T301 (51353 + 59505 + 51395) form the 08:00 Nuneaton - Skegness service. Hamish Stevenson.

Class 116 DMU at Skegness

17th September 1988

T420 (53092 + 59607 + 59032 + 51892) - a Class 115/127/116/115 hybrid - departs from Skegness with the 12:06 Skegness to Nuneaton on September 17th, 1988. Hamish Stevenson.

Class 116 DMU at Tyseley

1st April 1989

Class 116 53092, set number T420, is seen stabled at Tyseley on 01.04.1989, complete with WMPTE logo. Andy Cole.

Class 116 DMU at between Warwick and Leamington Spa

circa August 1990

A Tyseley based DMU (T420, 53092 visible) passes under the Grand Union canal between Warwick and Leamington Spa as a traditional narrowboat crosses the aqueduct in the summer of 1990. Bob Belcher.

Class 115 DMU at Aston

16th February 1991

Tyseley's set T420, a mixed class 115/116/127 formation with class 115 DMBS 51892 on the rear of class 116 TS 59032, class 127 TSL 59607 and class 116 DMS 53092, passes through a dull and rainy Aston station on 16/Feb/1991. Robert Chilton.

Class 115 DMU at Stratford-upon-Avon

26th April 1991

Four coach DMU sets were relatively unusual at Stratford-upon-Avon but on 26 April 1991 set T420 (presumably 51892 + 59032 + 59607 + 53092) visited the terminus with an afternoon arrival from Birmingham Moor Street. The white and red lights on the front of the unit shows that it was about to shunt into platform 2 to allow a Leamington Spa service to use platform 1. Peter Tandy.

Class 116 DMU at Birmingham New Street

15th July 1992

Class 116 DMS 51144 on the rear of Tyseley set T420 formed with class 116 TS 59032, class 115 TCL 59721 and class 115 DMBS 51897 leaving Birmingham New Street on 15/Jul/1992. Robert Chilton.
