I went to Ely on 19 October 1991, partly to photograph "Taw Valley" and "Flying Scotsman" on specials and partly to record the semaphores that would soon be disappearing. An additional image included a couple of Class 101 2-car sets at Ely. The set on the left is 101655 (formed 54062/51428), but I didn't record the set on the right. It looks like the set number is L221, which I think at this time was 51208/54402. Lewis Bevan.
