E51812 + E59697 + E51842 seen in York station on Saturday 25/07/1986, with another Class 110 on the left. They are in what was then platforms 10 / 11, these bays became platforms 6 / 7 and generally used for services on the direct route to Leeds and beyond, e.g. to Bradford Interchange and on to Manchester Victoria or Blackpool via Calder Valley route. Some InterCity services terminating at York also use these platforms. Graeme Phillips Collection.

16th August 1988

Three-car class 110 unit formed 51812, 59096 (class 101 centre trailer) and 51842 at Leeds on 16/Aug/1988. I had just travelled on this unit from Sheffield. Robert Chilton.

14th January 1989

51812 is seen at Leeds, 14/1/89. The centre car is a Met-Camm - possibly 59690 which was noted with 51812 around this time. It was an ex-ScR vehicle, the large "189" (or "489") on the end was possibly a set number from that era. Norman Cross.
