Emerging from the gloom of Birmingham New Street station is Class 115 DMBS no. 51884 at the head of short-lived three-car set TS524, formed into a nine-car consist on 23/Apr/1987. Unusually at this late date and for a unit in Blue/Grey livery, two white marker dots are displayed in the former headcode panel and as I recall, they were actually stuck on the outside purely for effect. Robert Chilton.
