Class 114 DMBS 53027 at Snailwell in April 1991. It was not unusual for vehicles to be sent for disposal with doors and windows boarded up. It was normally done with sheets of wood, this one has steel sheets welded on to seal the vehicle, a sign that it had never been asbestos stripped.
