Standing outside Trailer Parlour First M60743 are, left to right: EJ Morris, Secretary, Pullman Car Company; CB Minifie, passenger, WO Reynolds, Divisional Manager, London (Midland) Division, LMR; and Fred Still, chef. Mr Minifie had been presented with an engraved silver ashtray noting that he was the 100,000th passenger on the "Midland Pullman" between Manchester and London, while the chef has a birthday cake to celebrate the train's second anniversary on 4th July 1962.
