The damaged front has been cut away in preparation for repairs to start on Sc 51466 at Eastfield Depot, this really was a job for the Workshops but in an effort to manage costs and see what a depot could do Eastfield undertook the repair themselves, it took several months but a very good job was done and the staff were rightly proud of this. October 1983.
