Buxton allocated DMU set BX372 (52056 + 59148 + 53930), a class 108/104 hybrid, stands at the old Morecambe station on the promenade with train 1H51 the 14.55 to Stockport on 02/06/88. This station closed on 07/02/94 when a smaller two platform station opened closer to the town centre but in doing so reduced the length of the branch by 17ch (nearly ΒΌ mile).
