A holiday extra return working to Colne is seen at Chaffers Siding, east of Nelson, on 9 July 1977. Formed of two three-car DMUs, five of the six vehicles are Class 104s, the 'white-liner' set (M50527 closest) contains Class 108 DMBS M50973.
