Withdrawn Class 08 08747 was stood with Class 101 Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) M51188 in the yard at Doncaster Works on July 12th 1992.

The Class 101 DMBS went on to become part of Strathclyde liveried set 101694 that would eventually be transferred to Longsight Depot in Manchester, and was withdrawn in 2001. 51188 has survived into preservation at the North Norfolk Railway.
