29/5/72 - a wet bank holiday Monday at Windermere. The class 120 dmu strengthens a class 105 from Preston. The coaching stock was worked in by class 47 D1955 on an adex from Coventry. The station had 4 platforms which have now been reduced to one, although the roof remains as part of a supermarket development!
