Cardiff Central on my day trip of Monday 6th August 1979. On the right is Class 116 BR Derby Suburban set C333, W51148 + W59445 + W51135 which had arrived on the 09.17 Penarth - Cardiff and was about to leave as the 09.45 to Merthyr. On the left, still in all over blue is Class 118 BRCW set B468 W51310 + W59471 + W51325 which had come in on the 08.25 from Gloucester. It was attached to Met Cam Class 101 set B801 (W51446 + W 59547 + W51517) after this shot was taken and then worked the 09.55 to Weston-Super-Mare.
