1st October 1966
A six-car DMU formation in Blackpool North station on 1 October 1966. Closest is a two-car Cravens, the crest on the non-brake vehicle suggests this is a power car (and there is a hint of an exhaust on the roof by the pillar). A Cravens power car without any fillers on the no.2 bodyside means it is a Rolls-Royce powered vehicle. Alan Grange.

Cravens and Birmingham R.C.W. DMUs in Blackpool North excursion platforms on Sunday 09 June 1968. Vehicles are M50805 / 50439 / 59175 / 59148 / 50438 (order not known). Possibly M50805 + 59148 + 50439 (three recent arrivals at Newton Heath) then 50438 + 59175 forming the start of the set behind. Talbot Road Bus Station / Car Park is in the background. Ian 10B.

A Calder Valley set made into a four-car set wit the addition of a Met-Camm buffet car. Seen at Blackpool North circa 1971 on a Bradford service, this would be the return working of the service seen in image 9973. Alf Yates.

A Class 108 DMU in Blackpool South railway station, November 1973. Taken from what was platforms 3 and 4 which served the New / Marton line. Yeadon Way and South Car Park are now built here. Ian 10B.

M50967 has just arrived at Blackpool South with the 13.22 from Kirkham on 11 August 1976. The passenger doors have window bars, probably from its time allocated to Carlisle Kingmoor in 1970. Tom Burnham.
