A rare visitor to South Wales, this Derby-based Class 104 unit (M50498 + M59165 + M50446) with what appeared to be an empty stock working though Newport on 29th June 1972. It had previously worked a Derby – Cardiff special. Note the EP490 (Etches Park) set number in the cab window. Jim Sparks.
