Two Class 116 sets form the 1715 Llandudno - Birmingham cantering past Shotton Low Level (18XX) Wednesday 27th May 1987. The towers in the centre background are the former Connah Quay Power station (which was served from Point of Ayr Colliery (the Power Station was closed in 1984 and subsequently demolished in 1992).
