Class 108, Silecroft, June 1980. This is one of my favourite DMU photographs and taken quite late in my junior spotting "career". I only wish I had taken it in colour. We were having a few days staying in a caravan in the Lake District on an industrial locos bash and this sight greeted us as we came out of the Miners Arms having had gammon, egg and chips, or was it chicken in a basket (remember those days!) and a couple of pints. All excellent stuff! Alistair Ness.
