A Class 114 set led by 53038, carrying Tyseley set number T021, branded "Red Star" and displaying "Bingham" in the destination blind passes the remains of Burton Latimer & Isham station with an up service. The up slow has already been lifted and the last remains of the down slow are being dealt with. A quarter of a century later, a third track was re-instated. Mike Dean.

Loaned from Tyseley and somewhat optimistically displaying ‘Chester’ on its destination blind, Class 114 TO22 (53002 + 54047) depart from Bridgnorth with the 10.40am to Bewdley during the Severn Valley Railway’s diesel gala on October 15 1989. Mel Holley.

The driver trailer from set T226 - presumably 54010 - is being used along with a high density centre car for steam train rides at the Bescot open day on the 9th October 1988. Hamish Stevenson.
Mainly associated with Lincolnshire, some of the Derby built heavyweight units were subsequently moved away. Inevitably in its quest for non-standardisation, Tyseley received some.
