One of the long-serving London based Class 117 Pressed Steel units, seen in original green livery with whiskers and no warning panel. Two Pressed Steel suburban triple DMUs are seen at Scrubs Lane heading for Oxford on 8 June 1962. The first two vehicles are noted as 51415 and 59480, their accompanying DMBS is presumably 51373. Down DMU on an express working passing Hayes & Harlington on 4 May 1963. As far as I can make out, the destination panel says Reading. It's formed of two suburban triples with a Pressed Steel driving trailer at the front. John Cosford.

Note part of the set number can be seen on the solebar to the right, showing it was a Southall vehicle at the time. British Railways.

An image from the Swindon Works Accident series. This is Pressed Steel TC 59515, which has sustained some side swipe damage. Negative 5AA 1563, taken 15/4/64. Taken the same day as the damage to 51390, which would be from a different set, did the two vehicles hit one another? British Railways.
