MINUTES OF MEETING OF DECEMBER 30TH, 1959

Agreed.

740.  GENERAL MATTERS OF POLICY

1.  Programme of Diesel Multiple Unit operation

(a)  Position of schemes still to be submitted

Noted that, following a further meeting of departmental representatives on January 22nd, slight amendments had been made to the schedule of progress of future schemes, but the amendments were not sufficient as to alter the building programme.

The Chief Civil Engineer's responsiblilties for servicing and fuelling facilities in relation to the dates on the schedule were discussed, and it was agreed that Mr.Varley should review the position in conjunction with the departments concerned and report at the next meeting.
