A Class 129 has a tail load attached when seen at Bangor in the summer of 1972. All three vehicles were based at Chester from October 1971 until withdrawal. Tony Wilkins.
The sidings alongside Bangor station on 11th June 1973 contain a Class 108 DMU, parcel van and 24 064. The building behind advertising Stockwell's for Steel is the ex-LMS steam shed still in railway use then although not a locomotive depot. It still stands today but out of use I believe. The disused former Bethesda bay platform can be seen in the foreground at the end of platform 4. Pete LG99.
