Bubble at SC55007 Eastfield on 15 April 1972. The vehicle number uses three inch high numerals rather than the more standard four inch, and there is a set number that seems to have an E prefix, possibly 'E13'. John Grey Turner.

On the 5th March 1978 Refurbished Class 101 DMCL SC51516 is inside Eastfield TMD, Glasgow, having it's underfloor equipment cleaned by a fitter with a steam lance to remove the oil and grease that build up with constant use. She would last for another 20 years in service before withdrawl in September 1989 and scrapping at Snailwell, Suffolk during September 1990. Bob Woolnough.
Looking like an overhaul and repaint in BR Blue had been recently completed, Dundee allocated Class 101 DMBS SC51251 is stabled at the Glasgow end of Eastfield MPD on the 5th March 1978. Only ever allocated to Scottish depots whilst in BR service she would be dragged all the way down to Snailwell, in Cambridgshire, where she was scrapped in late 1987. Bob Woolnough.

Class 101 DMBS SC51453 on Eastfield depot on 22 July 1979. This had been the first Scottish DMBS to have been refurbished, released from Glasgow Works in July 1976 in the white/blue stripe livery. Three years later it now in blue/grey although its partners are in the white/blue stripe livery. Noted the taped over set number (185). Brian Daniels.
