Class 127 DPU set 919 (presumably 55969 + 55979) stabled at Cardiff Riverside on 17 March 1989. Robert Thomas.

8th July 1989

M55979 sits around the back of the goods shed at Gresty Lane, Crewe, on 8th July 1989. It carries the set number 919. Paul James.

January 1990

Class 127 parcels conversion 55979 seen after withdrawal at Crewe Basford Hall in January 1990. S Gaskell.

21st July 1990

An assortment of parcels DMUs converted from former "Bed-Pan" hydraulic class 127 units stand forlornly withdrawn in Crewe Basford Hall yard on 21/Jul/1990, with 55969 (formerly 51606) prominent. Three parcel vehicles were subsequently preserved. Robert Chilton.

26th May 1991

Several parcels DMUs converted from former "Bed-Pan" hydraulic class 127 units stand forlornly withdrawn at Crewe Gresty Lane, with 55979 (formerly 51600) leading the line. Seen on 26/May/1991, some component recovery has taken place prior to their dispatch for scrap, mainly the removal of doors. Three of these units escaped and were preserved. Robert Chilton.
