Taken on 08/12/04 at Wilmcote whilst 960014 (977873, ex-55022) was used on route learning duties for Driver and Guard training of Chiltern Railways staff on the Stratford-upon-Avon route, previously operated by Thames Trains. The transfer of services to Chiltern Railways commenced on 12/12/04, a few days after these photos were taken, with the route learning duties being shared with 960021 (usually used for Sandite duties). The lesser seen Aylesbury Depot depot stickers are in evidence under the vehicle number. Image by John Wills.
