A Class 108 DMU is seen calling at Askam, Cumbria, around 1980, with a service that is probably heading for Millom.

Having the large headcode box, the front vehicle at least is likely to be allocated to Chester or a Manchester depot, as opposed to Carlisle Kingmoor (KD), whilst the rear set appears to be Class 105, another type not allocated to KD.
