Derby Single Unit RDB975010 IRIS Inverness 14 September 1982. Test coach IRIS in a bay platform at Inverness. Despite my extensive travels throughout the UK in the 1970s this was the first time I had seen this unit and I was very surprised to cop it this far north. I have since travelled in it at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in it's restored guise as M79900.
