Met-Camm set CR234 and another of the class sit in Llandudno station. Undated, but as one of the Mark I coaches on the right is still in maroon this is probably late 1960s. In the summer of 1969 CR234 was noted as 56342 + 51184 - could those be these vehicles? Steve Davies Collection.

On 27 August 1983 Class 47 no 47342 is seen at Llandudno having dragged a Class 101/108 dmu formation. I had this down as a Blythe Bridge-Llandudno "additional" service, but the "Class 47 list" website says that the train was an 09.22 Stoke-Llandudno relief. I travelled on this train from Llandudno Junction, but I have no idea where the 47 was attached. Lewis Bevan.
Class 47 no 47342 hauls DMU cars 51917/54496/54058/53206 through Llandudno Junction on 27 August 1983. This was a return ecs working from an incoming additional service from Blythe Bridge to Llandudno, which I had travelled in from Llandudno Junction. I'm not sure whether 47342 had hauled the dmus from Blythe Bridge, or (as seems more likely) it had come on following a failure of one or both of the 2-car units. Lewis Bevan.
