ScR Edinburgh Suburban Handbills

A selection of handbills from the late '50s / early '60s, the period these services were operated almost exclusively by Class 100 GRC&W driver-trailer sets. The size of the images are not to scale in relation to each other.

1958

The first few feature a line drawing of a GRC&W set by Kenneth Steel.

The first is for services starting 17th February 1958 on Costorphone - North Berwick and Waverley - Peebles / Galashiels routes, the second 5th May 1958 for Edinburgh - Leith (North).

Beginning 9th June 1958 for Waverley - Musselburgh, Costorphine - North Berwick and Waverley - Peebles / Galashiels (courtesty of Mike Ashworth). Also an excursion handbill for 22nd June 1958. It's not known whether a Class 100 operated this but the illustration featured the same Class 100 line drawing.
