Class 108 unit C976 headed by DMBS M51417 (though no longer LM allocated) sits at Platform 2 at Cardiff Central in 1990 waiting to form an evening peak train to Abergavenny. 51417 was based at Cardiff Canton from October 1989 until May 1991. Its partner is presumably 54212. Tony Walmsley.
