Class 101 DMU at Sutton Coldfield

18th July 1974

The 11:03 Kidderminster - Lichfield City service arrives into Sutton Coldfield station on 18 July 1974. It is formed of Tyseley three-car Class 101 set TY409 with DMCL M50335 closest. Michael Mensing.

Class 101 DMU at Swindon

Class 101 DMU at Earlswood Lakes

March 1975

In March 1975 Met-Camm set TY409 leads a Derby suburban set into Earlswood Lakes station with a service heading to Birmingham Moor Street. Michael Mensing.

Class 100 DMU at Hereford

1977

I think that this was the first Class 100 DMU that I'd seen in Hereford. Here it is at the rear of a Birmingham-bound train, passing a rake of Mobil gas tanks on the down main in 1977. It appears to be M50340 and is displaying set number TY409 so is likely part of a Met-Camm set. John Crooks.
