A Gloucester twin passes through Princes Street Gardens on the last part of its journey to Edinburgh Waverley on 9 June 1965. Leading seems to be SC56304, a vehicle that would be withdrawn the following year with accident damage, the cause is unknown. Stuart Mackay Collection.
One of the Class 100 vehicles that was saw an early demise was 56304, it was less than eight and half years old when withdrawn. It's seen here partly dismantled at Cowlairs Works, probably in 1966. The cab is on the right. AA McLean.
