26/06/54 - 79002/502, 79003/503, 79004/504, 79005/505 noted in traffic.
August 1956 - Six special DMU diagrams were in operation for the August '56 Bank holiday providing a half-hourly service between Bradford and Knaresborough. Four diagrams were the eight Bradford sets running as 4-cars, the other two were being Newcastle sets 79153/79328/79511 and 79154/79325/79510. On the 7th August one diagram was dropped.

Scrapped by A King, Norwich arrived circa Nov-64 cut circa Nov-64 Not confirmed, but most likely location.
