The depot had 87 different vehicles allocated to it of types Class 100, Class 101, Class 105, Class 107, Class 120, BMU.
Vehicles were allocated to this Aberdeen depot from March 1958 to October 1967.
They worked the services on the lines from Aberdeen to Inverness, Ballater, Fraserburgh and the Lossiemouth branch. The depot closed when many of these lines did, and the Cross-Country sets for the Inverness services moved to Inverness depot.
