This sample contains the diagrams from 4 February 1957, and also details of a "Temporary Ferrying Service" which was the movement of DMUs between Gosforth Sheds and Scotswood Bridge Sidings until the latter is "adequately equipment for the maintenance of diesel units". Cleaning was done at the Scotswood Sidings except when the units required putting through the mechanised washer at Gosforth Sheds.
The diagrams covered the Newcastle - Hexham - Carlisle services, introduced that day, as well as the existing Newcastle - Middlesborough services, in two forms, Carriage Workings (PDF pages 5-10) and Locomotive Workings (PDF pages 11-14).
The scans are courtesy of John Whaley, whose grandfather was the Shed Master at the time.
