A Cardiff Swindon Cross-Country DMU in platform 1 of Gloucester Central on 19th October 1974. Gloucester was the southwestern extent of my Midlands Runabout ticket and I had just arrived from Birmingham and would soon take the bridge to Eastgate and return from there back to Birmingham shortly. No point in hanging about in the rain!
