In the pouring rain my train made up of a 3-car Swindon Cross-Country dmu waits at Nuneaton station platform prior to departure for Leicester & Derby on 18th October 1974. Another LNWR signal box - Nuneaton Up Sidings Shunting Frame - overlooks the scene & the ornate LNWR awnings belie the modern electric scene.
