Two dmus & a Ford Transit van at the London terminus of the Great Central Railway's extension, at Marylebone on 31st December 1975. It opened 76 years earlier & was virtually unchanged. The right-hand train is departing for Aylesbury. Before privatisation British Rail removed the right-hand platforms & roof during the 1990 remodelling. However the platform awning on the far right was retained and fitted to the left-hand span. However with the increase in traffic the station proved to be too small & additional platforms were opened by Chiltern Railways.
