The cleared semaphore Starter signal indicates that the road is set for an outer suburban dmu train as it proceeds southwards to St Pancras from Cricklewood's neat Midland station on 26th February 1977. Today the line is electrified - the dmus are replaced by emus and the semaphores are replaced by colour lights. The station buildings are long gone, replaced by bus shelter type waiting rooms.
