A view across the buffers inside the former Steam Depot at Hamilton, Glasgow on the 2nd April 1978 finds an unknown Class 101 3 car DMU, set number 177, alongside six sister units comprising 3 Class 107 and 3 Class 116 sets on the 2nd April 1978. Providing the traction for many of the surburban services out of Glasgow Central, Hamilton DMU Depot was closed and demolished in the early 1980s.
