With Torside level crossing and box in sight and travelling under green signals, a Hull Botanic Gardens (BG) based Swindon built DMU formation led by a class 124 with a Manchester Piccadilly-Hull Paragon service passes by, heading towards Sheffield at 10.55 in dismal weather conditions on the freight only Woodhead route, on a Sunday diversion away from the Hope Valley route, 25th January 1981.
