On 29th March 1986 a well loaded 2K08 09.36 Kirkcaldy to Edinburgh service passes Saughton Junction in western Edinburgh in the form of Met-Camm 3 car unit 101 309. The vehicles are presumably 51193 + 59060 + 51233 - two DMBS vehicles, the closest is a stand in for the regular DMSL. The E&G line leading off to the left has, of course, now been electrified and the tram line runs to the left of the scene.
