In refurbished livery, A Class 114 2-Car DMU, formed of cars E50001 & E56043, waits to depart from a run-down looking New Holland Pier with a service to Cleethorpes on Sunday 28th September 1980. The linkspan connecting the station to the ferry landing stage can be seen to the right of the station building. A Morris Minor and a Mark 3 Ford Cortina are parked behind the buffer stops. In this period only one track was in situ at this end of the Pier.
