Class 114 Derby Heavyweight 2-Car DMU formed of cars E50001 & E56043 (E50001 was the first built, emerging from Derby in 1956), departs from New Holland Pier and runs along the 1,375 yard structure towards its next stop at New Holland Town on September 28th 1980. There is a air of dereliction all around, the pier closed to passenger trains following the opening of the Humber Suspension Bridge in June 1981.
