A Cravens two-car Class 105 DMU formed of cars E56130 & E51255 was stood at a forlorn looking Sudbury, awaiting the 11 mile return trip to Marks Tey situated the Great Eastern main line on an overcast Sunday 5th April 1981. The rusty rails in the foreground lead to the stop block at the end of the branch. Until 1967, Sudbury was a through station on a cross-country route to Cambridge.
