Class 111 DMU, led by E78974 (formerly E51550) is seen departing from Leeds with a service to Blackpool. This original slide was supplied undated, but with the HST in the background in InterCity livery, this would be mid-1980s and no later than 1986, as these Blackpool services were given over to new Class 150/2 Sprinters once they became available.
