Bringing up the rear of a well-loaded four-car Preston to Colne service, Cravens Class 105 Power-Twin Driving Composite Lavatory car M50804 was stood at Bamber Bridge on May 13th 1981. A familiar daily sight along the East Lancashire line from the late 1960's, the then (1981) well-worn Newton Heath fleet of power-twins would shortly have started to be withdrawn from service. The local track gang had their yellow liveried BMC crew bus parked in the station car park.
