Although sitting in the East Suffolk bay at Ipswich Station on Saturday 12th December 1987, I am unsure where this Class 101 DMU is going. The front marker lights are on, but there is no driver on board. At the time 51444 was allocated to Cambridge Depot, so it may have been filling in for a Crown Point allocated unit that had failed in Cambridge and was unable to return to Ipswich.
