Passenger services between Dunstable North, Luton and Hatfield ceased on 26 April 1965. Two days before, a Cravens two-car waits for time at Dunstable North, carrying an unofficial 'Skimpot Flyer' headboard, fitted by the South Bedfordshire Locomotive Club.
