A Class 104 three-car DMU, with Driving Motor Brake Second (DMBS) M53464 leading, was passing Narrow Lane Crossing at Midge Hall with a Preston to Ormskirk service on September 3rd 1985. A blue/grey centre trailer car (TSL) had been added to the set.
